Workshop

Effective local complaint handling virtual workshop

Audience: Landlords

This 2 hour virtual workshop explores what good complaint handling looks like and why it matters for both residents and landlords.

The interactive workshop is designed for staff working in landlord organisations that are members of the Housing Ombudsman Scheme. It aims to build confidence and consistency in local complaint handling and includes the opportunity to work through a complaint scenario in groups.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • define a complaint
  • list 5 things that are important to people when they complain
  • identify whether an issue is a report of antisocial behaviour (ASB) or a complaint
  • describe the complaint handling process
  • identify appropriate elements of a comprehensive decision letter

This virtual workshop has been allocated CPD.uk learning hours.
