The Housing Ombudsman cannot consider every complaint referred to the service.
If it has been 12 months or more since your landlord issued its stage 2 (final) response to your complaint, we will not be able to consider it for investigation.
We can only consider a complaint about an issue that has been through both stages of a landlord’s complaints process. If the issues raised in the complaint were previously resolved but have now reoccurred since the stage 2 response, you can make a new complaint to your landlord.
