Workshop

MRC Connect: MRC POV David Mills

We’ve gathered Member Responsible for Complaints from different sizes and types of landlords to answer the questions you’ve never asked and share their unique experience.

In these 45-minute sessions we’ll take questions from the audience as well as pre-submitted questions. If you have been wondering how things work for MRCs in organisations similar to yours, sign up for the session you’d like to attend.

Once you’ve registered, you can submit questions in advance and we’ll select a representative sample to be asked live.

This session will be with David Mills – Retail Trust:

David [He/Him]

Housing Services Manager

Worked in social housing for 25 years, both supported and general needs accommodation. Managed specialist supported living accommodation, award winning tenancy support services in Housing Associations and local authority general needs housing, managing tenancy sustainment, ASB, Domestic Abuse and community engagement. He currently leads on governance, policy and service development for a national charity providing accommodation and tenancy related support. Handled a number of complaints from informal gripes and grumbles to formal complaints where objective and thorough investigation is needed. He has also been the topic of the complaint on a number of occasions and learned the importance of clear and timely record keeping, recording platforms that work for residents and staff as much as the landlord and that often times in complaints the facts can be the hardest part to deal with, in particular where there is an overtly emotive and impactful element.

Please note this event is for MRCs only.
