TPAS : Spotlight on Dealing with cladding complaints: Three key lessons for social landlords

The Housing Ombudsman’s recent spotlight report identified three key lessons for landlords in dealing with complaints about cladding to ensure that the impact on all residents is recognised. While landlords have prioritised their remedial programmes based on the fire risk to residents, the Ombudsman found that residents’ individual circumstances are sometimes at risk of being lost because of the scale of the challenge facing landlords.


This webinar will be delivered by experts in the Housing Ombudsman Service and will focus on discussing important lessons and practical recommendations that are within landlords’ control:

  • pro-active and open communication with residents
  • responding to, and demonstrating a flexible approach to individual resident circumstances
  • having long term compliance plans in place

This webinar will provide an opportunity for residents to discuss the key findings in the report and the actions for landlords.
