IHO Limited
IHO Limited (IHOL) is a company limited by guarantee set up in 1997, not trading for profit, which provides the administration of the Service.
The Board comprises nine members, all of whom are non-executive. The directors are appointed from three groups drawn from member landlords, tenants and independents. This provides a balance whereby the Board’s decision making cannot be dominated by an individual or group. Selection to the Board is based on merit by the choice of individuals who through their abilities, experience and qualities match the needs of IHOL. Each appointment panel is supported by an independent assessor. Directors are appointed for an initial term of no more than three years and may be appointed for a second time, again for no more than three years.
