You will be able to recognise that as a dispute resolution expert and Ombudsman we are neither a tenant advocate or landlord champion. You will be, however, entirely comfortable reconciling the importance of being impartial with that of responding to and being supportive of the needs of our service users.
Able to manage your feelings positively to ensure that your judgement isn’t clouded, you will be conscious that your own feelings and behaviours can also have a direct influence on those around you. You will show an awareness and ability to take account of the feelings, needs and perceptions of others when making decisions or proposing solutions.
