If you have a complaint against a landlord, or management agent, you must first check if it is a member of the Service. You can search the Members Directory on the right.
For an overview of the Service, please see the About us section. All
registered social landlords in England are in the remit of the Ombudsman by law. Some private landlords and agents are also members on a voluntary basis.
If you wish to make a complaint, please read the information in the Making a complaint to the Ombudsman section on the left; you can use the Complaint form when you are ready or download the form and leaflet in English and other languages. You can also read about complaining to a landlord in the Introduction and advice section.
Do contact us if you have any questions.
